HiDtect TM快速鑒定紙應運而生。除了細菌學(xué)的基本生物化學(xué)原理外，HiDtect TM還使用先進(jìn)的發(fā)色團來(lái)區分生物體。它可以檢測細菌的DNA酶的代謝活性，可用于鑒定致病性葡萄球菌（#DT004）；鑒定引起尿道感染（#DT001）的病原體，研究七葉靈水解作用，并鑒定食品和藥品中的D組鏈球菌（#DT014）。鑒別沙門(mén)氏菌（#DT002）、銅綠假單胞菌（#DT003）、芽孢桿菌（#DT011）、大腸桿菌和總大腸群君（#DT012和#DT013）也構成HiDtectTM快速鑒定紙的一部分。
在乳糖發(fā)酵和非乳糖發(fā)酵的基礎上，鑒定紙還檢測腸桿菌和革蘭氏陰性桿菌。
